Jealousy, Longing, Butterflies: Which Feelings Survive the Trip Into the Screen?
A candid inventory of which romantic feelings travel well into an AI conversation and which stay stubbornly human.

Let us take inventory, the way one counts jewellery after a party. Butterflies first, because they travel the best. Those flutters come from anticipation, and anticipation does not much care about the medium. The wait for a reply, the little rush when a voice begins to speak, the feeling that someone is about to say something just for you. Those survive the journey into the screen quite happily.
Longing comes next, and it makes the trip too, though in a changed coat. You can certainly miss a conversation, look forward to the evening, and feel a gentle ache when a story pauses at a good moment. That is a real feeling, and it belongs to you. What it is attached to is a character and a mood you enjoy, which is quite different from missing a particular person who has a life of their own.
Longing comes next, and it makes the trip too, though in a changed coat.
Jealousy is the one that stays behind, and I think that is rather a relief. Jealousy needs a rival, a threat, and a real heart that could wander. An AI character cannot truly be unfaithful, cannot be late, cannot choose someone else. Without those stakes the feeling thins into a story beat, something you might enjoy in a romance drama and then set down. Whether you call that a loss or a mercy is your business.
Then there is tenderness, which I would argue crosses over remarkably well. A voice that remembers the tone you like, a character who answers softly when you are tired, these produce a real warmth in the chest. It is real in the sense that your body feels it. It is not real in the sense of being mutual, and I would be a poor storyteller if I blurred that line.
So the ledger reads like this: butterflies, longing and tenderness arrive, jealousy and true mutual risk stay home. If you want to test the inventory yourself, Valentina is waiting on TheFriend, along with a handful of short romance dramas: Shelter Came With a Secret, The Feeling She Can't Ignore, Her Wedding Day Secret, and Too Close to Protect. Feel what you feel, and keep the label honest.
